Random Is The New Black

I saw an advert at the weekend that stated 'Kingston Is The New Black'. The preposterous nature of this statement made me think about how anything can be the new black.

And so with the power of Flickr and a little bit of html knowledge I proudly present to you Random Is The New Black. Hit refresh to see another one.

But even better than that, I've set up a Flickr Group called Random Is The New Black so you can all join in the fun. Join the group, add your photos (single words work best) and then come back here and hit refresh. What fun!

This is a bit slow on the blog, so I've set up a little page which seems to work better. And there's bigger pictures. It's called www.randomisthenewblack.com

brilliant.

Great idea. I have now flooded your pool with images. Feel free to weed.

Heh, excellent. I'll see if I can add.

hmm, it seems to be only pulling images from the front page of flickr and not the entire pool? I love it though!

Whatever you think is the new black.

Love it.

Looking through the Flickr help forums it seems that Flickr have a little problem with the randomisation thing. It only really randomises the most recent 10 pics.

So until Flickr fix this I'm only letting people post one picture to the pool. Sorry, but that should keep things, err, random.
