It clearly didn't work last night. It probably just helps the strikers know where the keeper is so they can shoot around him.

It also helps that the goalie is three times the size of the player. Is it just me or is he huge?
What was Lampard's excuse then when he seemed to think the goal was three yards to the right?

To be fair, Ronaldo seemed utterly confused.

Did you know... The most successful place to aim is the centre of the goal because the goalie will, 99% of the time, dive to one side or the other.
The reason players don't do it is because if they do, and the goalie actually saves it, they risk looking very stupid. But it is the wisest move to make...
